Rosalia

Rosalia Vila, also known as Rosalia, is a Spanish singer of flamenco. From her teens, she's embraced the edges of popular and traditional music. Additionally, she is a pioneer in the realms of hip-hop, trap, and soul. Guitarist from Flamenco Pepe habichuela described her voice as sweet and sharp, yet with the bite of older singers. El Mal Querer was her big commercial and critical hit in the year 2018. Following the release of Los Angeles garnered her attention and a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist and it was a top hit on the Billboard charts of Latin Pop Albums and she was awarded a Grammy. The track La Fama featuring the Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami included songwriting collaborations with a variety of artists, including Cory Henry, James Blake as well as others. It was released on March 20th, 2022 following the performance on Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia performed solo in her first appearance on the show. Along with taking home three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia also became the first female to be awarded the Latin Album of the Year twice.
